THANK YOU FOR BEING ONE OF MY MOST PERSISTENT NET STALKERS OVER 1995, JODY AND FOR ILLUSTRATING #1-#6 BELOW IN MY GENERIC POST FOR NET STALKERS. LOVE TO ARGUE WITH YOU, BUT THAT WOULD BE #5. ARI Dear Reader: Hello and Namaste, My name is Arianna Elise Lindemann and this is the Internet! I run an organization named White Lotus Dharma Center (http://www.speakeasy.org/~ari). White Lotus Dharma Center is an organization dedicated to exposing abuse by eastern spiritual teachers , supporting victims of abuse and educating new students about abuse/boundary issues. My inspiration for revealing the names of abusive teachers comes from the direct advice of the Dalai Lama in his Open Letter to Buddhist Teachers. It is by naming abusive teachers publicly that we protect future students, and perhaps prevent future abuse. However, power structures based around abusive teachers are such that devoted groupies of a particular teaacher, seek to protect their teacher through various forms of violence. The forms of violence that I have been subj ected to include the following: 1. Blatant libel ( a good example is a person who has accused me of having been arrested for attending a yoga workshop, when I dont even have a speeding ticket to my name) 2.Attempts to discredit me: This has included making false accusations against me, characterizing me as mentally ill, a liar, etc. (this "hysterical woman" argument has been one used for decades by the patriarchy to silen ce victims of abuse). 3. Fake e mails – As we all should know, it is all too easy to fake e mails and posts on the Internet and I have been subjected to this. I feel that flamers will be seen for the violent fascists that they are and that sincere and kind people, truly interested in helping victims of abuse in our Sa nghas and Yoga Communties will see these flamers for what they are – violent and sick people. The same type of people who would give you Kool Aid at the Jim Jones party – so blind in their "obedience" to their teacher ( o r in the case of some, to their own hatred) that they forget kindness and compassion and can think of nothing other than hatred and violence towards myself, the women I support, and my cause. This letter will be pasted on any future flames. ***Anyone sincerely interested in myself, my work, or about any libel posted about me on the net, can e mail me and find out the FACTS about what I am and what I do!. This is completely and utterly false with regards to my involvement in this tragic affair. I have posted to USENET (alt.meditation and alt.yoga) notes critical of Ari’s tactics online. I have *never* sent her an email message, and for this reason she cannot substantiate these claims about me. We all know what the unfortunate *real* story is. –jody radzik.
