FAQ: request for addition

Question:

Hi, I’d like to make an addition to the alt.yoga FAQ.  Yoga devotees should be extremely careful going to certain Yoga Schools.  Surf the web, research a little.  I’ll never goto the Integral Yoga Institute ever again after seeing the protesting against them.  It really opened my eyes.  The website confirmed my worst fears.  You owe it to yourself to do your homework before getting sucked into a real cult. Also, please add http://www.freecatherine.com to your directory.  Why Yogaville refuses to let Catherine speak is beyond me, perhaps they are afraid she will speak of what really goes on down there, and behind the scenes recruitment efforts.. that audio tape is scary. Response:

Dear yoga9900, personally I believe the Integral Yoga Institute may be the best place for you to learn the yoga of Unconditional Love.  It doesn’t sound like you have much of it. It sounds like to me you are living a life built on fear and personally I don’t believe that’s what yoga is about.  Yoga, to me, is about love and the best way to irradicate your fears, from my point of view, is to go face them.  For that reason I suggest you go to Yogaville.  Face your fears and learn to love in spite of the world being some other way than you want it to be.—DSW

Response:

hey DSW, Did you read all the information on http://www.rickross.com/groups/yogaville.html ? I’ve been researching this group since I first got a flyer from the group of demonstators outside the Integral Yoga Institute in New York City last week. Earlier this year, there were numberous protests against Yogaville, hundreds of posts and the people of this newsgroup shouted those people down.  Shame on all of you!  And yet some here still refuse to believe the atrocities at the hands of this evil organization. I read there are hunting dogs on the Yogaville property. Surely, these people are hypocrites! The audio tape, Television coverage and ongoing media attention to this story and the MANY attemps at suppression of information by the lawyers of Yogaville are a CLEAR indication something is very wrong. How can these people afford to hire FOUR count them 4 lawyers against that family to see their daughter? I would never go down there and I would do my best to avoid the Integral Yoga Institute and the fraud Swami Satchidananda. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Dear yoga9900, personally I believe the Integral Yoga Institute may be the best place for you to learn the yoga of Unconditional Love.  It doesn’t sound like you have much of it. DSW, Your love is quite strong.  Please visit Yogaville for a month and report back to us –  that is, if you are permitted to leave.  I’ll certain that you will never want to leave this "wonderful" place.  (8 lanes in, 0 lanes out) – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Dear yoga9900, personally I believe the Integral Yoga Institute may be the best place for you to learn the yoga of Unconditional Love.  It doesn’t sound like you have much of it. Dear yoga9900, it seems that you don’t have any idea what yoga is about. It’s about love and accepting Life As It Is! I love you and because you seem to have so much fear in your life about this Yogaville matter I will go to Yogaville with you in My Mind and Your Mind will find the love you so desperately need. Come to Yogaville in Your Mind and see me standing in front of the gates of this hell before me and begin to feel the love that has always been with you and is now growing inside of you. DSW

Dear gurdjieff, I thought you were already signed up? Don’t you remember all those long moonlit drives we used to take when you started to feel like a maniac…and the time you wrecked your car and almost killed the both of us? By the way, the next time you’re in France I would appreciate it if you could get me some of that wine and cheese only you can get. It’s nice to see you are still AWAKE…DSW

Please review http://www.rickross.com/groups/yogaville.html so we can discuss what we have seen in our worldly pleasures. Swami Satchidananda has committed many atrocities – crimes against humanity.  He has used Yoga to further his own wealth and worldly pleasures in the name of peace.
